Chinese-born flutist Emma Zhang began her musical journey at the age of six.

In 2019, Emma graduated with Outstanding Graduate in flute performance from Xi’an Conservatory of Music, where she also performed solo recitals.

In 2022, she earned her master’s degree from the Conservatoire National de Région d’Amiens in France, graduating with top honors by achieving first place in the DEM exam. During her studies, she performed as a flutist and piccolo player with the Picard Symphony Orchestra.

Emma brings years of experience teaching students of various ages. Her instruction caters to all proficiency levels, focusing on tone refinement, breath control, and advanced performance skills. She provides a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary flute repertoire, enabling students to confidently interpret and perform a diverse range of musical pieces. Emma also emphasizes the importance of mastering the basics, whether students are learning for personal enjoyment or preparing for the ABRSM exams.

Fluent in English, Mandarin, and French, Emma offers classes in all three languages.
