Nita Zou is passionate and enthusiastic about piano teaching and the importance of music. She likes inspiring and motivating students - through tailor-made individual programmes - to experience personal and musical growth, and believes that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning.

With eight years of teaching experience across a variety of age groups, Nita has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Xinghai Conservatory of Music in China, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Music Education from The University of Auckland School of Music. Having recently added Orff-Pedagogy and Primary Kodály Method to her wealth of musical knowledge, Nita able to also communicate to her students in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

In addition to her teaching experience, Nita is also has won Second Price at the Liszt Piano Competition in Guangzhou, China; Golden Prize in the 4th Hong Kong International Competition, and The Best Piano Accompaniment Award in Guangzhou, China as part of the Hummingbird Music Awards China Youth Music Competition.
